Aunt Marie
My aunt Marie's best friend was an alien from outer space who took her to his planet, where she met Abraham Lincoln, among other people. This video only barely touches the surface of Aunt Marie. (Is it any wonder I'm so crazy?)

Aunt Betsy
My mother always said that of all my aunts, I was most like Betsy (and probably least like my mother!). She was another unique person whom I loved very much.

Aunt Mel, Part 1
My mother's oldest sister was a unique woman who, among other things, was married 13 times, to 12 different men (#5 and #7 were the same guy, and in between he was married to one of her sisters). In Part 1, my mother lists some of her accomplishments throughout her life.

Biscuits
This is a very short story I've heard my mother talk about for years, and it always fascinates me, food addict that I am. It is about a neighbor she used to visit, who made the best biscuits she ever tasted.

More Dear Old Dad Stories
My mother tells more stories of my father, her ex-husband. In this story, she talks about my father and a family friend (who was also our landlady for many years). Gives you a taste of what sort of man he was.

Daddy Dearest
My father, who died in 1987, was not the best person in the world. During her convalescence, my mother (who divorced him long before he died) talked with one of my cousins about what he was like at the time of his death. It's a good thing the TV stations didn't get wind of it, or we would have made the news.
